Okay I need your opinion on how to attach a scope to my model 15-2.
I know they make a scope mount that just bolts right on but I heard it makes the gun top heavy. The other way is to tap and drill the barrell and then add a picatinny rail to it.
I dont want to add to much weight to my dan what the best way to go about this? Thanks

The B square mount is convenient, but adds weight and bulk. You might prefer to by a shroud on GunBroker or from DW/CZ that you can drill and tap to mount rings directly to, or find rings that will clamp directly to the slots on the vent rib (SHOOTIST 357 knows more about these rings).
The advantage of the drill/tap/direct mount method should be very minimal change in POA when you change shrouds, and very little added weight over and above the scope.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Glockanator,
I would recommend the Weigand mount for the drill and tap option. They are strong, aluminum (lightweight) and they are low mount so they do not change your hold much. See my collection if you want there is a pic of a 414 with one and a 357 with one if you wish to view what they look like. They have a website too. I think it is Jack Weigand to be precise.
