At the top of "For Sale or Trade"

DWF practice is for you to post your offering including a price, as well as shipping, insurance, or other fees/costs.
Members will respond with "PM sent", and you would normally sell to the first PM committing to your asking price and terms, pending your receipt of funds from the buyer.
THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION SITE. You accept and fulfill the sale to the first offer made at your selling price. If your initial deal falls through and you have follow on offers, by all means sell to the next person in line. You will see repeated examples in "For Sale or Trade" of this practice of "PM Sent" "Next in", etc.
If no one meets your asking price, then the best offer you might receive via PM would be your next option, and discussions are conducted via PM or email addresses communicated by PM.
No different than I sent to you by email.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
