If this Topic shows up twice, don't blame me, I got caught in a Forum Upgrade in mid-post.
So I'm shopping my least favorite LGS (hey, I was driving by anyhow) and discovered:
.223 Rem Lake City brass, once fired, cleaned, sized, trimmed, primed $12/50 in a plastic tray
9mm mixed brand the same way $16/100
Since .223 brass of any kind is "unobtamium" here, and since it's primed, it's reamed for commercial/civilian primers
AND since I recently decided to start reloading for 9mm AND fell into a great deal one dies (
SCORPIO), I jumped on both
In fairness, I asked if he really wanted to sell them at that price, he gulped and said "Yes".
I'm sure that whatever I didn't buy got repriced pretty quick.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
