Does anybody else have any shrouds with the rollmarks filled in?  I have a 2" 22 shroud with "gold" lettering like this one.  These are NOT Gold Series shrouds.

The nickel shroud I got had yellow grease packed in there. Used a wood toothpick and carved it all out.

I think a few of the shrouds I had when I first got into DW's were filled with gold like that or was it white?  I can't remember but they were standard shrouds for sure...

I don't own any, but have seen a few on the auction sites that were that way. They look kinda catchy, or at least different.Smile

My 40 had it when I purchased it used.

So I redone it and brought the color back out, I like the SuperMag side

alot more than the make/caliber side I might take that back off some day.

The DW 722-VH10 Silhouette came from the factory with gold-filled ram silhouette on the barrel shroud.
