This is the sign posted at the doors at City Hall

I wonder if this has the force of law? The description of "dangerous weapon" can be pretty loose. Many objects, implements, devices, etc., are dangerous when not used properly. My guns are used properly

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I wonder if you could make the argument that it is not a official "Gun Buster" sign? Looks like it came from Waly-Mart! screwy

Do you think that all this paranoia on the "civil servants" part is warranted?

I went with a colleague to the City Hall of Mt. Pleasant recently and the "window" for the public safety and Court portion of the building where the public approaches to conduct business was a bullet proof partition that was blacked out by a dark film.

You could not see the person behind it...... just shove yer papers under the glass and talk through the same opening.

Endeavor to persevere,
Press on regardless.

Around here, court & police buildings all have metal detectors, and they make me unload everything metal onto a tray. Including my belt holding my pants up.screwy If I accidentally bring my little 2" pocket knife in, they make me walk it back out to my car & start the process all over again.confused

At least the city hall building is more lax...for now, until one jerk ruins it for everyone.
