These are 2 silver one troy once coins that the orginal owner of a norwich 44 first issue said he had bought as a special deal from DW back in 1993 when he bought gun thought you guys might like to see them.

Silver trade unit. I would have thought this was more a dealer thing than a DW thing. Cool none the less.

Walt, do you have any documentation to tie these coins to DW? Unfortunately, heresy alone from a previous owner doesn't make me a believer.
I'm going to move this thread to "General", until a tie-in can be proven.

He told me DW offered them for $5.00 each when you ordered a new 44 mag in 1993

Looking at the coins there are no inscriptions that relate to DW. It could have been a promotional thing from a dealer.
