These are 2 silver one troy once coins that the orginal owner of a norwich 44 first issue said he had bought as a special deal from DW back in 1993 when he bought gun thought you guys might like to see them.

Interesting, any reference on the coins to DW?  Doesn't look like it from here!

Walt, do you have any documentation to tie these coins to DW? Unfortunately, heresy alone from a previous owner doesn't make me a believer.wink

I'm going to move this thread to "General", until a tie-in can be proven.

He told me DW offered them for $5.00 each when you ordered a new 44 mag in 1993

Looking at the coins there are no inscriptions that relate to DW. It could have been a promotional thing from a dealer.
