A couple of weeks ago I bought a case off of eBay advertised as a D.W case with decal. The dimensions of the case ended up being only 4-1/2" H x 8-1/2 D x 14-1/2 L, these are outside dimensions.
The case is the same color "brown", same style construction and #71 excelsior locks/opens it. The gold colored cloth inside is the same as a full size pistol pac case although the foam has no cutout for a firearm.
The question is: What did I buy????

You bought an original, genuine, factory case, smaller than the Pistol Pack one ... I've got three of them.

Thanks Stinger. Obviously thats nice to hear it was a D.W. case. Did any firearm actually come in these cases from the factory? They seem awful small for a revolver

Lol. They are meant for a small frame gun up to 6" barrel and maybe one more BA and another grip. They currently are selling for 200 plus.

Over the past years I have seen mini pack cases go for a premium price over the standard cases at times

Here is what I did with my mini case and I think this is also some fabric from Joann's.
Dont let Dan Fan know what I did with the case.....a S&W revolver in a DW case,BAH humbug
