The Blizzard of 2015 turned out to not be a huge catastrophe, but
There are sidewalks running left and right that still need to be cleared, currently covered with over two feet of snow. That Sears $300 snow blower is still chugging along after 10? years. It can't handle this kind of snow all by itself, I just chop the snow down to 8-10 inches deep then let the snow blower do the work
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Don't over do it out there. I was satisfied with the 4 1/2" we got out of that storm.

Gee, when I left the office at 5 with the windows down and sunroof open, the thermometer in the car said 74.....and nary a cloud in sight!

Let's see, Steve and I grew up in the Detroit area. I moved to TX. He moved to CT. Yep, winter in TX can be a beautiful thing!

well I guess I shouldn't say too much, that snow we got was pretty much gone in 2 days, except for the piled up stuff and it is a sunny 35 right now....

All of our snow is piled up too, and it will melt eventually.
OTOH, the blizzard does give the opportunity to sit in the living room, watch the snow fall, enjoy a few frosty beverages, and make this sage and learned observation:
"Huh, snowin' pretty hard now"

We have had the most mild winter in my area in years. I think I have only shoveled 5 or 6 times this year, very unusual. I love it!!
