thought that i would look through some freedom of information act stuff for manufacturing data. found some...though not as far back as i would have liked. anyway...

I wonder whet the numbers would be for the 70's and 80's, I would think that thats the time frame where a large were made. Thats the time frame when I purchased mine; in fact it was in the fall of 1978 if I remember correctly. I could be wrong but that seemed to be the golden years, it seems that the Wesson 1911 model is just now getting popular.
