I'm still looking for info of any type on the Dan Wesson Sure Sight. If anyone knows about them or if you'd happen to have a brochure showing it I'd really appreciate if you could post it.
The thing that really has me scratching my head is the number stamped on the bottom. The arm of it has an "A" stamped on it and the base of the piece is stamped with a "B". They both have the number "2" stamped on them. I'm just wondering if this could perhaps be the second one made?!

From what little information I have been able to get/find (pretty much non-existent) it's hard to say if the design was changed. I've tried to get info on a couple other sites where Dan Wesson's are topics with no luck there either. Someone here mentioned that they thought it was listed in a brochure but there has been no evidence of that that I've seen. They may have only been dealer demo items???
I got this from a local pawn shop that was selling a pistol that they paid way too much for. I could not buy the bench rest separately. I paid them their asking price for the pistol with the understanding the bench rest would be part of the package.

It's hard to say if any were destroyed by their owners but I could see if they lost a pin (or two) the pieces may have been separated and lost. Being it has the Dan Wesson insignia on the upright piece at least you have info on a part of it as to at least what it might belong to.
I could see how the blue grip pad/stand could be lost/misplaced/damaged fairly easily.

What new info I've been able to get I am putting in the box below:
As you can see, I've got nothing. I did have one member on another forum give me all the info I already had:
I have the same question on 3 different forums looking for this info
One sold on eBay for $333 (in 2012)
jaggman had posted about getting one (with no numbers on it) on this forum in 2010. He was putting it in a museum from his post. I sent him a PM through this forum on August 14th but, as of yet, I have not gotten a response.
What I am hoping for is hearing from someone who worked at DW back in the day who may be able to shed some light on them.
If and/or when I get good info I will post it here.
