Has anyone noticed firearm supply getting a little better lately and demand starting to ease up a bit? I attended a show today (even though I swore them off a year ago and still continue to go) and noticed quite a few firearms are back in stock now. I'm seeing supply in distribution get a little better but the "hot" items are still difficult to get. A lot of the handguns that were sold out for months are starting to show up again. The magazine craze is over (one of the distributors has over 250K units in stock in .223 alone). Most the high-cap. handguns are starting to come around again. AR-15 lowers are abundant again. Hopefully things will remain stable for a while and everyone can get their "wish list" checked off before the next crisis hits again (and rest assured, it will). The ammo craze is starting to let up some but there's still a big crunch on popular calibers. I'm still seeing clowns running around trying to gouge $50+ for a brick of .22lr.
Anyway, I did run into a few DW's at the show but nothing worthy of bringing home. One quack (a private guy, and often they are the worst) has a 741 that he's had in his case for over a year now (shows here run every 6-8 weeks). Every time I cross his table each show, his price goes up!! This week it's $1k, but he wanted to make sure he told me the tool was included also. I laughed right in his face and walked away.
