Just go get the checkbook out now.... and put the drool mat on the keyboard before you go any further...

You guys all know I love my custom 14-2 with the unknown rubber compact grips...  (And a lot of guys here want my grips  Wink ) ...

Image Enlarger

Well, the 14-2 was down for a little while for "maintenance"... and by maintenance, I mean LB custom grip work Laugh....  enough BS, check these out !!!

These grips are an EXACT copy of the rubber ones.  The fit and finish is superb.  I'm not sure how he copied it and I really don't care !!!  This is going to stay on my 14-2 CCW 4"... I'll order another one for show purposes, but I love this grip enough to use it daily.  For all you guys looking for a CCW grip--this thing feels AWESOME !  LB knows I don't like shiny grips, so he did mine in a matte finish.  They are super smooth feeling, and have a beautiful finish.

I can't say anything else except... Thanks LB !!! master gripmaker...

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Glad you like it Shoot. Did you have to fit the grip or did it slide on? I am adding this style to my "catalog" and calling it the Shootist model.Wink   As usual Y'all are too kind with the complements.

Zundfolge,  ("does LB have a web site?"  roflrofl rofl just can't stop laughing) Yes I have a website it's called the DWF Sign  Just Kidding Big Grin.  Actually, I am not in business but I do a little wood butchery now and again for the guys here. If you are really interested in something shoot me a PM and we can talk, just don't expect too much my abilities are limited.

The grip slid on perfectly !!!  Literally a plug and play grip.  I put it on a Monson gun, which I believe has a slightly smaller tang than the Palmer guns.  Palmer guys may need to do a little fitting.

I've had a couple of people ask me what kind of wood the grip is made of.... Well, I don't know Laugh... All I know is it is beautiful.

Maybe LB will step in here and enlighten us with some wood knowledge.

The grip is Zebra wood. I call it dark zebra because it has much more dark grain than blond.(obviously) I ordered a fairly large piece of zebra from an Internet supplier and this is what I received. I think it looks great but isn't quite what I was expecting, but that is the chance you take when you buy lumber sight unseen.
