Howdy Guy's. I have been on some other firearms forums of other brands. And I have noticed that this is without a doubt the most polite, friendly and professional of all of them. I'm not saying who the others are. But I have seen verbal abuse, name calling and even challenge's between member's. When a new member comes to their forum looking for information or help. They get into arguments with each other. Calling each other liars and such. The moderators and members here really go out of their way to help a new or old member. This forum is just the greatest. We share info, joke, and have fun. We all have a common interest in one of the most intriguing guns ever designed by a great man. Daniel Baird Wesson. And we don't put down other brands. We admire all the great guns and gun designer's. proud-to-be-an-american

This is truly a great place to be for gun lovers.

Another +2 on all of what you said!  I could not agree more.  I belong to a few other Forums and vissited still others and spend no time at any of them.  This is the greatest place there is on the web.  The best part is that it is still 99.9 % self regulated by our members.

Double ditto!!   As a moderator I can honestly say this is the easiest job I ever loved.

The members here make this the best place I know of to hang out.

Yep, I can't agree more! Definitely makes for a fun forum to hang out in. There is a real absence of egos here, and guys here are always ready to answer questions and help people with gun issues. I have not found a forum of any type as nice to interact on as this one.

No amount of "Moderation" can make a Forum fun, informative, and engaging.

It's the Members that make the Forum, not the other way around.

I Thank You all.

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Just goes to show you that people with good taste (IE. Dan Wesson aficionado's) also seem to have good manners.

This is truly a great bunch of guys.

Could it be said, that the Dan Wesson is a 'Gentleman's handgun?' Therefore making this a forum frequented by gentlemen. Or ladies as the case could be.

Hmm a gentleman... I'm wondering if I could convince the wife of that?

Actually- I belong to several forums and this is the one I always come to first.  Only one other even comes close, but it is a second place- DWF is the BEST!

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Well said by all!  I am trhinking that we all want to know more about the Dan so we keep it nice so as to gather info.  Or we just like this place!  I belong to a few others but hardly ever run by them.

Keep it up good fellows!  occasionproud-to-be-an-american

Old school, highly functional, not mainstream, innovative, dependable...

And I'm talking about both the Guns the Members of DWF.

I visit 3 other shooting Forums daily. One is also fairly small, very social and "chatty". The other two are big and help me with staying in touch with more of the overall shooting and RTKBA landscape.

DWF is my first and last stop every day. Due to the "miracles" of smartphones with unlimited data, Kindle Fire, WiFi hotspots, etc., it's easier all the time to connect with my DWF Brothers in Arms.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
