I forgot how many cool guns were on the old Miami Vice show.

I think I'll get the old seasons and reminisce.

I always liked the Miami Vice show for the cool guns you would see there. I've been watching all the old episodes for a month or so now, when I get time, into Season Three currently. Besides the cool guns, it's a slice of history from the mid 1980's...early cell phones, vending machines, neat cars, arcades...one has to smile seeing the outdated stuff compared to what we have today.

Definitely.
Miami Vice came along during the beginning of the technological age we currently live in. It never ceases to amaze me how fast things have progressed in such a short time.
A couple months ago, I was working my way through the first two seasons of the "Rockford Files"...not a cell phone in sight. If Jim wanted to hurry up & contact someone, he dropped a dime at a pay phone.
Honestly, the more time that passes, the more I look back fondly at the "old days". Probably much the same way that someone 20+ years my senior looks back at their youth & thinks that the 70's were a technological marvel. These past 100~ish years in human history have been really spectacular, compared to the few thousand before.
