The yellow fabric that is inside my pistol pac is pretty dirty from the previous owner. Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning the fabric? Could I put it in the washer machine or would that be too rough on it? What kind of chemicals should i use? It looks like it is stained from gun oils, and solvents.

Use some laundry stain remover like Shout and wash it.  If it's deteriorated use a gentle cycle.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

If a man designed it, and a man built it, then a man can fix it.

Guys, I got a look at this Pack today, believe me, the only thing not perfect on it is a couple spots on the fabric.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Has anyone been able to find a source for an exact replacement for the liners. I have scrounged around all the fabric stores in my city but haven't been able to match the stuff. Sorry for the hijack but thought it is a legitimate follow up question to yours. Thanks

I agree. It should come out looking a whole lot cleaner after a trip through the wash.smile

Can I wash it with the foam or should I take the cloth off of the foam?

Just wash the fabric.

My gal does a lot of sewing and found some fabric that's close but not the same as the original, some packs I have bought were missing one half so I used the new stuff on both halves and it looks pretty good.

If anyone wants a small sample let me know I can mail it to you. I have plenty and hand for a few cases.
