It was just another trip to the mailbox today...then I saw an unexpected package from LB in the box.  LB knew I recently retired from the Air Force and sent me a very nice gift of his own usual great design.  This set of grips means more to me than any other gift I've received.  The DWF family is a strong one (even when I stray away for long periods of time).  I appreciate all the family I've gained here.

No idea yet which gun this is going on, and I can't even mount them yet as all the DW's are currently in a undisclosed location around the FL panhandle!  I'm thinking something with a 8VH BA that will get shot alot...

A great big THANK YOU to LB for this beautiful gift!

Very nice.  Can’t wait to see them on a Dan!  My deployment grips reside on the 745.

I think there are only three of the American Hero grips. Lawrence made the first for me as a gift to my son when he came home from his deployment in the Persian Gulf. They are not something he sells, they are a very limited availability.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

My son just asked if this was going to result in a special "Pac"...  I assured him that would be happening as soon as life settles back down to normal.

Thank you Shoot for your service. The Panhandle is beautiful but still a little cold up there. Haha, not really. Unfortunately, Pensacola is  a long way from central Florida. Hope you are further east.

What is up with that?  I've never had that happen before.  Do I need to change to a different hosting service?
