Hey Guys I'm a new member having just gotten a Dan Wesson 357 and I have a question about a problem I have with the trigger sticking back after pulling it. There is a small allen screw in the back of the upper trigger and it touches thegun body at it's most rearward position. Can I simply turn it in a couple of turns and what is it? Any help is appreciated...

Welcome to the DWF !!!
That small screw is the trigger overtravel screw. You can try turning it out a little to see if it helps... but first I would give your DW a good cleaning--this fixes most problems with DW's. 30+ years of old grease will cause issues if not cleaned out.
Check out this thread for cleaning your DW.

Thanks for the info gents. Got another question,in the instruction manual I got off gunbrokers it says that it is chambered for 357 Maximum and although 357 Magnum and
.38 special will fit they are not recommended. What have you guys used and what is safe in this gun? Thanks again...

Whoa! That gun will definitely not shoot .357 Maximum. That gun is for .357 and .38 only. Please note the marking on the barrel shroud.
The .357 Maximum is even larger than a large frame gun. It is on the supermag frame which is longer to accomodate the longer cartridge.

Thanks, I see that it says .357 magnum ctg, the manual is obviously for many different models. So the maximum round is probably longer than the chamber and it wouldn't close anyway, right. I was just asking because I haven't used one of these before and there aren't model#s on it. Sorry for coming across like an idiot.

Sounds like your manual may be for a Supermag gun, or maybe it's just covering them all. Yep, if you were to try & stuff a Maxi round in your gun, you'd definitely notice somethng's not right.
This is the only comparison pic I have handy at the moment. The far left is .357 Mag, next to it is the .357 Maxi (SuperMag).
