I need that little half moon dowel cylinder stop that's missing in my 15v 80's 357. I went to the DW site to find a parts blow up, but couldn't find one. Does anyone know the part number and a way to contact the Co. to order one? Thanks, Frank.

I found the parts site and ordered it. The cylinder stop is the size of a fly and is 17 bucks for the part and 9 to ship. Ha! Anyone know if It's a tight fit and is lock tight needed?

anzafrank, the "part" is called a cylinder stop and it is part of the side plate. An unfortunate design flaw results in it breaking off. Probably all model 15s will have it happen eventually. The part you bought will probably require minor fitting and yes, loctite. The good news is that the repair should be permanant and stronger than ever.

Initially it was a separate part, later it became an integral part.  Glad you found one.  It should be a friction fit but certainly will come loose again.  I'd use red locktite or some sort of strong adhesive like JB Weld.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Thanks for the info! I had no choice but to order it, and am glad they had it.
