Went to the Tusa gun show today, touted as the largest in the world.  Only saw 3 DW's all 15-2's in average to below average condition.  Asking prices were sky high $700-$900.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Realistically, we will see original DW revolvers much less frequently, and at increasing prices, as time moves on.

I guess I'm fortunate that I have all the Dan Wesson's I need. I have owned and sold or given away more DW's than I own, including a 15-2(my first gun),44, 744, 14-2, 22, 722, and the first production (serial numbered)445SuperMag

I still own two 15-2's, two 715's, and a PM1-S

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have noticed over the last six months DW items are less frequent on both gun broker and eBay.   Things may be getting tight.   Good thing for collectors.

Buddy of mine called me from Tulsa about a Maximum, Ruger that is. 10 1/2, NIB, 4 digit, all the stuff with it. $1,395.00, said he would take $1,300.00 for it. In my opinion about 3-400 over what there are selling for on line. Gun show prices are high. Coogs.

There is a gun show going on locally this weekend. I will stay away. I had gone to the same show a couple of years ago and saw one over-priced 15-2. I went later in the day Sunday (last of the 2 day show) figuring to maybe get a deal, one less gun they have to take home. Nope. These shows just seem to have over-priced firearms at them. On most firearms, not just DWs.
