I just heard about this Thursday, on the radio. I sincerely hope that this can be explained. The whole "mass grave" thing in Arlington is a bit unnerving, plus the little girl's photo only adds to the mystery.
It's one thing to do this sort of crap in an average cemetery, but in Arlington? There is definitely more to this story…
One question I have been pondering , that hasn't been answered, is...why did they dig up this grave in the first place?

The urn was found in a "dirt pile" at the cemetary with 7 other urns.

Woops, that's what I get for reading half the story, leaving the room for a bit, then coming back blabbing away. It makes more sense now that I read the whole story. Now I can pull my foot out of my mouth.
Thanks for the link, Hossman. It's nice that they will now be able to bury Miss Stecher's grandmother where she belongs.
