Very interesting story.  Hopefully they will be able to determine who the little girl in the picture is...

Thanks for sharing!

She was the granddaughter of a WWII and Korean vet buried in the grave.  She is now 19 years old and a cadet at the Air Force Academy.  It was on the news on the internet today.

I just heard about this Thursday, on the radio. I sincerely hope that this can be explained. The whole "mass grave" thing in Arlington is a bit unnerving, plus the little girl's photo only adds to the mystery.

It's one thing to do this sort of crap in an average cemetery, but in Arlington? There is definitely more to this story…screwy frown

One question I have been pondering , that hasn't been answered, is...why did they dig up this grave in the first place?

Woops, that's what I get for reading half the story, leaving the room for a bit, then coming back blabbing away.embarassed It makes more sense now that I read the whole story.lol2 Now I can pull my foot out of my mouth.

Thanks for the link, Hossman. It's nice that they will now be able to bury Miss Stecher's grandmother where she belongs.
