All the time ... I use FoodSaver, but there are many to choose from.

Hello,Does anyone have any experience of using a vacuum food saver to seal ammo.
thanks

Thats interesting! Some people would paint their primers on expensive ammo if they were going to keep it a long time. Like Hydro Shok and TAPS ctg. combat ctg. Something about the primers going bad due to moisture. Yep I did it too. Vacuum storage would be another alternative.

I hadn't thought of vacuum storage, but that seems to make sense. It keeps moist air from getting to the ammo. I have a Cabela's vacuum sealer & instead of bags I purchased a 2 pack, 50'x11" roll of bags that you can cut to the size you want. It works great and much less expensive than buying bags. The 2 pack costs anywhere from $20-$25. Meat lasts a very long time so ammo should last even longer. I know what I'll be doing with some of my ammo today.

Agree w/ Jerry- buy the rolls. This is what I use.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I use VAC-VIDA vacuum sealer, that's pretty easy to use and the only complaint is that it takes a little more place than I expected.
