Other than trying to keep track of what different guns, barrels and sets sell for, is there someone or someplace that you can figure out a possible worth?
As my DWAS has been actively lightening my pocket over a few years I need to put a value on them
If you have say a 357 with all the barrels and a pistol pack case I assume it has more value than just each individual part or is it too hard to sell a big set so that isnt true?

Gunbroker is a good place to gauge approximate value. For a few years, there were a couple guys we called "pac breakers", who would buy pacs & sell off all the pieces. They would usually get more for them in pieces. Nowdays it seems that they aren't being broken up near as much.

Hard to find a pac nowadays that makes selling off the parts worthwhile

That is very true. Packs used to be 1100 to 1500. Now they are 1800 to 2500 and more. That is actually how it should be IMHO. Speaking of appreciation, a 722 in the box just sold for over 1200. With tax, shipping, 1% GB tariff plus transfer fee and maybe CC charge it can be 1400.
