The wife and I went to the Wallingford, CT gun show today. Not much in the line of handguns. More rifles and loads and loads of knives and memorabilia. Didn't see any DW stuff. I asked a few vendors if they had any, and got a reply from one old guy. He says, I have some barrels and cylinders and maybe some other stuff. He's going to look it over, and I'm going to give him a followup call this coming week. Cross your fingers he has some good stuff. Even if I don't need it, I might try to get it for you all - if you need it. Or maybe I'll flip it on GunBroker.
Of course, this could be a dead end too....
BTW, most of the prices I saw were higher than GunBroker, believe it or not!!!

There's a guy in (I think) Stamford that has parts for sale from time to time, maybe the same guy?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Oh, I believe it. That's common for gun shows in my area too.

I hope my stuff on GB/eb@y does well -- I need some $$$ for the upcoming gun show ... never know when a 414 SM may jump out at ya !!!

Oh, I believe it. That's common for gun shows in my area too.
Same here when the shows are 200 tables or less, always seems to draw the
over-priced sellers. The larger 400 + table shows seem to have some reasonable
dealers.

I'll be honest--with 10" barrels bringing that kind of money, I may sell the other two I have 🙂 DW prices have been on the rise again for the past month or so.

Just got off the phone with the guy from the gun show that has some DW parts.
He has two sets of pork chop barrels 4 inch and 6 inch ( I think) with shrouds either 38 or 357 cal, a DW barrel tool and a couple of wood grips. The grips don't have any medalions. The barrels use the barrel nuts that are external, not the recessed ones. He said they are in good shape, no marks on them.
