I was just browsing the polls. As of the time stamp on this post, 30 members claim to own 164 DWs in 36 different catagories- and that doesn't count multiples!
Y' all R drying up the market- time to send some of those 7414 and 741s to Louisiana!!!
PS:
I'll be adding to the poll next week as I picked up that 44VH on Wittaker's site…
Best Regards,
Ron

You're right, some of these guys have no self control. Just because you own one doesn't mean you need to own, well, ALL OF THEM
My name is Steve, and I have a problem
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

We are always on the hunt... it is the only way to get into the "sexy singles" club ... (If I have it my way, the 32 will soon be a member of the Deuce club instead)

CF,
Yes I believe that is more like it. A retirement plan. How many other items can you buy, use all your life and have it be worth more when you sell it, well OK I am sure there are others, but Dan's sure fit that description.
I just took a minute to do a compound interest calculation on my original purchase 33 years ago of my 15-2 6 for $170. At 3% over 33 years I would now have $457, not very far off the going rate on Gun Broker for this gun.
In a pure fiscal sense, not a great investment, not horrible.
In a real life sense, priceless

Considering the hits my 401K has taken over the last couple years, DW's are for sure the better way to go...now if only I had bought them 10 years ago, when they were so much cheaper.
Of course with my luck, when I decide to unload these in another 20 years (to buy a house in Bermuda ), they will be worth pennies again.
