I've noticed that one too. I think it's not getting much bidding interest because of the bluing loss. The seller makes no mention of it's condition (in or out), so it would be hard to bid on that, IMO.
As far as whether anyone here has done a room like that with DW's...not sure. If so, nobody's fessing up. I think SMF, Shoot or IHMSA could probably pull it off.
One day my wife and I want to build a house and that's the sort of room I want to include. Once the room is built out you could use one of these Browning Vault doors to secure everything.
In building my room (in my mind so far) I envisioned cabinets with glass doors on one side for handguns and racks for long guns on the other. It would also be nice to have an island in the middle for cleaning tasks as well.
The Ruger Room above certainly is nice!

That Ruger room sure is sweet! I have never even thought about building a room like that. I just wish I could get to the range more often . I did have a friend suggest doing a display at a show some day? I don't know the details on that type of thing, I would hate to spend money just to display some cool toys? I would think having your firearms hanging on the wall in the opne like the Ruger room would collect alot of dust that you would have to keep wiping off, that was the second thing that came to mind after the factor leveled off.

I've got a room downstairs that would be perfect for that. It's an 8x18 room with cement walls, floor & ceiling. The walls were poured when the house foundation was poured, so they're about a foot thick. The ceiling is maybe 10" thick. The weakest link would be the door.
It's just used for food cold storage for now, but I think it may just end up being used for something more fun sometime soon.

Sounds a little like the room Bert Gummer had in "Tremors".
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wait until you see the room that Bert and Heather Gummer had in the basement of their house. Without looking it up, anyone know who played Heather Gummer in this fairly crappy movie?
