Anyone remember this pic back in the 80's?  Larry Perry using his 375 SM made a world record with this group shooting at 210 yds. That is just incredible! What are some of the best groups shot today if anyone knows?

I can shoot mickey mouse groups with my scoped 44

….but that's at 50 yrds…I Would think it would be

very hard to beat that group but then every body has a good day.

That's good shooting Blacktop. You have to hold your mouth just right to

make those type of groups. You have to do like Festus and peel an eyeball

on it just right.

That's one hell of a group at 210 yards with any sort of handgun.  With a revolver it is incredible!  wow

If  all mine come close to what I am aiming at I am happy!  Though the 744 w/10" reaches out and likes to touch the steal!

I remember that group and article in the Silhouette paper. Here's one I shot awhile ago on a Big Bore ram at 200 meters. 5 shots, one a bit higher than the other 4, shot creedmoor, iron sights. Sorry it wasn't a Dan Wesson, but an El Dorado Silhouette revolver in .44 Magnum.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

That's an incredible group in any-body's  book. Especially with iron sights.   Do you have a pics of your El Dorado Silhouette revolver in .44? And have you made any mods to it. Do you shoot unlimited style?

Here's the El Dorado. It is factory stock, no modifications. I shoot it in a creedmoor position, what you call unlimited.

Wheeew Dooggy! That's a beauty. I bet you can out shoot Marshal Dillon with that one. You need to put out a YouTube video on shooting metallic silhouette. Thanks for sharing that pic.

Thanks, it's a very nice gun.

There are lots of silhouette shooting videos on Youtube. Just search for

"gunzorro"

Jim Harris is a good guy, lives in CA and has recorded a lot of them...very entertaining.
