Anyone have any idea on how to handle DWFW Dan Wesson Forum Withdrawals? I will be spending the weekend with my wife at a boer goat show in Ohio and will not be able to join you all during that time. EEK! Not quite sure of the jitters setting in. Anyone been through this? HeHe

Well, you could post a smiley on every thread in this whole forum...effectively putting yourself miles ahead on post counts, then by the time you make it back you'll be about even. 😛
Honestly though, that's just one of those real life situations that all of us will face, I'm afraid. You could carry a .445 SM bullet in your hand the whole time, to help ease the jitters.

Great idea, probably can't carry the real thing in Ohio, don't know their laws well enough. And no not GTO, goat as in furry four legged. We have a herd of breeding goats that occupies some of other "spare" time LOL LOL picking self off the floor LOL, spare time.

We used to have goats on our farm when I was a kid. I hated them back then, but I'm sure I'd like 'em fine now. We even milked them for our drinking milk, for a year or so.
That's not a taste that can be aquired.

Seriously though, I don't have Internet access at work, the workstation is on a company intranet. I bought a Netbook and plug into the router for full access. Literally the size of a hardcover book with 16 GB onboard and an SD card slot for expansion, runs XP, wireless built in. Lots of variety available at places like Best Buy under $300
Not as fast as my home connection, but it still works if you manage open programs and don't let your startup get loaded up with junk. Mine is an Asus ee PC, I think

edit: FYI-I have internet access on my Verizon cell phone (LG Voyager). DWF is not very Mobile friendly, but it will work, slowly and pictures are a PITA. it's great for keeping up on e-mail, and more sites all the time have a mobile version (AR15.com, ebay, maybe GB, I'm not sure)
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I do have a laptop a Panasonic notebook. Just I'm doing all the driving and helping show the furry critters didn't know if there'd be time.... well heck, maybe make time, huh? I took the laptop on the last vacation to supposedly keep after work emails and spent most of the time watching Gunbroker! Hopelessly DWAS inflicted

I travel a lot and use a laptop.
Was driving all day today and definately had the jones to get on here as soon as I got home!!
DWJONES might be another "affliction".
SMF take the laptop. You'll make time automatically!
Some of the hotels will give you an access code free if you ask.
