Wolf is probably more noted for their 7.62x39 AK-47 type ammo. I have used it in my SKS with no problem. It may even be reloadable, but I think the 7.62x39 has steel cases. Maybe do a search on Wolf ammo and look at their website if they have one.

I think the AK ammo is where they got their start. I shot some .223 a few years back, got 20ct boxes for $3.99 from Natchez. Seemed to group as well as anything. My rifle just seemed to like the Winchester USA 45grn. Saw some say the regular Wolf was dirty, I only shot 2 boxes and didn't see much difference. The Wolf Gold is loaded on brass and suppose to be their premium ammo. Here's their web http://www.wolfammo.com/

first let me state i have never shot any wolf pistol ammo. i know their rifle ammo is not the best quality, no offense to any users of it but would not recommend it. some ar-15 manufactures like dmps warn against using certain brands. wolf was at the top of that list. i know several friends that have tried it because it is cheap, but you get what you pay for. it does run extremely dirty in black rifles, and half wont cycle the weapon. they have a nice looking website but not a lot of info on it???? be cautious my .02 cents, if you get some let us know the results.
