I spent some time today working with my favorite .22lr pistol, a moderately customized Buckmark. Normally it shoots with a Fastfire, but a while ago I got a Bushnell TRS 25. I recently acquired a bunch of Remington Thunderbolt .22 and I finally got to match up the Bushnell with a bunch of bulk pack .22lr. Once I got everything dialed in on the range, I was pretty pleasantly surprised with the result, 50 foot slow fire, 10 shot groups.
Budget ammo, good gun.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Nice job. My old Ruger MKII loves the cheap ammo. I don't know what it is, but .22lr from a semi-auto is a ton of fun. Like most of my stuff, the capabilities of the firearm far outweigh those of the owner/operator.

if you find one...what's your plan?

Mine has a Tactical Solutions barrel and top strap/rear sight. Very lightweight and great balance
I elected to have the collar over the threads pinned, rather than registering it as an "Assault Weapon" (CT craziness)

I've owned both, Buckmark is a little easier, but it can still be a little bit of a PITA to put the Buckmark back together too.
