alright!
got the pistol, absolutely amazing!
I am terrible with computers so posting a pic may take me a bit to figure out...
Im pretty sure its a model 15, and im also fairly certain it has the possibility of interchangeable barrels-the latter of which has me REALLY excited!
Anyone know of a reliable place to get barrels? or for that matter the tools to change it?
Ive got a decent collection of rifles and shotguns, but this is my first pistol and im still getting acquainted with it... still havent even fired it!
technically i have shot it, but i was 11 and a little nervous.
another part of this guns appeal for me is the sentimental value. my dad bought it for his brother, my uncle, who has since passed. i always cared a lot about my uncle so this gun means alot to me.
I was a tad embarassed to have not been more familiar with dan wesson arms, but upon hearing i would get the pistol I did a bit of research (this forum among my findings) and was thrilled to see what an excellent reputation dwf has-still kind of cant believe my good fortune!!!
I swear, im going to figure out how to post pics if it kills me!

Great to here you have it. All you ask for is on the right side of the screen. Instructions on posting pics and EWK has the tools to swap barrels, and he is working on barrels and shrouds. Of course Dan Wesson still produces barrel/shrouds but are a bit pricey in my opinione. Auction sites like gun broker and others have them regularly. Looking forward to some pictures. Oh and to the .

That is an interchangable barrel, get an EWK barrel wrench for that. Go to GunBroker and search for DWs and look for more barrels.
BTW, I like the 44 Mag Carbine and mildly searched for one. They have been discontinues as far as I know.
