Hi again Blaser.  I too have a .22 Mag on which the nut got "stuck" and I butchered it, so it is now in Norwich, NY geting "treatment" and a tune-up. I can't wait to get it back and use it on the September shooting match for rim fire.

Enjoy the house of Wesson.  occasion

I managed to do this with my very first Model 15-2 over 30 years ago. It went back to the (Monson) factory for repair. I don't know what has happened with yours, I had rounded out the slots in the barrel nut with the old style flat barrel wrench.

Another Canadian shooter- welcome to DWF

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I already have that afliction , The biggest part of my dilema is NO CANADIAN DEALERS and the only outfit up here that has a US FFL # wnats a thousand dollars on top of thepurchase price to bring one up from the states , otherwise I would be shopping for a .445supermag witch incidentaly would also go quite nicely with the blued .357 max for $400.00 Can that I just found localy.

Welcome blazer.306, another new member from up north! WOW! that is a bit expensive to get a gun imported! Hopefully, you can find one locally. Those .445's are awesome shooters.

Does that $1000 reflect real costs, like import fees, taxes, etc., or just profiteering? Probably some of both, I imagine.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wow, that sucks.Frown Fees like that would definitely put a heck of a crimp in an otherwise healthy case of DWAS.Confused

Go grab that local one before it gets away.Laugh
