I recently acquired two Dan Wesson 460 Rowland Barrels. Both are 4", but one says First Issue and the barrel is SS and appears to have been used. The other barrel is blue and looks brand new. Both say 45 caliber 1:18.75 / A-1, so I am assuming they will shoot 45 ACP as well as 460 Rowland and other combinations depending on the cylinder? I have been a fan of the 460 Rowland for years in one of my 1911's and am excited to see what it will do in a short non ported revolver. By my research, I guess I need to find a DW 7460?

Searching back a few years I saw they only made 125 of them? I saw one with a four barrel set went for 3500+ a while ago. Too rich for my blood just to have one!! I have a box with some small DW revolver parts that came with it, so I figured I'd be ahead if it needed some attention. These barrels were from Johnny Rowland, so I figured the SS one may have been used in testing or on his own revolver. The blue one looks new to me. I may just have the cylinder in my S&W 625 modified to accept 460 Rowland.
