Good Afternoon,
I'm a wee bit remiss about introducing myself, and I apologize. Unfortunately, we've (my co-workers and I) have had to cope with several changes (some of which still aren't working properly) that came down the pike during the second Summer semester and at the beginning of the Fall semester, and I still haven't had time to explore all of the forum's benefits. What I have seen, I like. Since things are starting to calm down on campus now, maybe I'll be able to spend a little more time around here and learn or share something.

Welcome to DWF! Normally, I'd be a little intimidated to have a "Prof" join us, but since everyone else here is smarter than me (I???), I've adjusted.
How/why did you stumble across the "Dan Wesson World"?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I became aware of the "Dan Wesson World" back in the late '70s while looking for a new handgun to spend some of my hard-earned money on. I was trying to decide between a Colt Python and a Dan Wesson; I was intrigued by the ability to change barrels, but I was also skeptical about the reliability factor. I went with the Python, but I never stopped wondering about the Dan Wesson, and I kept hearing great things it. And just a short time ago while looking for a Ruger Mk I or II for my daughter, I found one, but I was second in line as a buyer. While waiting for the Ruger guy to get back to me (and he did take his time), one of the Dan Wesson legendary revolvers came up for sale, and I jumped on it; I just couldn't control myself. To make a long story short, here I am, now.

And that's just how it begins for many of us. For me, it started with a 15-2 Pistol Pac...and how could I anticipate the upcoming disease to follow, but the flood gates opened for a period & before I knew it, I now own 13 DW models...and a couple DW distant cousins. I love them all.
