Good evening all,
I'm a brand new member from around the Charlotte area of NC. I just picked up a model 15 from gunbroker and am very excited about it. I took some time and cleaned it this weekend. I have not snapped any pictures yet but will be sure to add some. Just wanted to say hello.

Ok...per the link I now believe that model 15 was born in 1979 from the Monson line. Thanks for the link. I was really curious about the year and now I have a much better idea about the piece. I haven't taken it to the range yet, I can't wait...if only I can find some ammo! bikeridertim...any idea if the Bass Pro up at Concord Mills Mall has any .357 in stock?

OK...I have some photos in JPEG...but am having trouble uploading them from my card. I attempted to upload them from the attachment button below, but am having no luck. Any advice?
Here's a tutorial that should help.

I just picked up some .357 loads today at the new Gander Mountain that opened in town. Because it just opened today it actually has ammo, in fact I think it is the only place in town with .357 ammo. I will have to take it to the range and shoot a few rounds to give her a test drive. Let me know what you think of the pics! Thanks!

Thanks for the comments. I am really enjoying the forum. I had a question about the medallions in the grip as they seem different than some of the other Dan's I have seen (These have DWA instead of the DW). Looks like one of the other forums stated that the medallions indicate that it was made around the late 1970's, around the time Dan Wesson died.
I will try and post some pictures to the photo thread when I get some collaborated from my time on the range. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
