Have had an interest in Dan Wessons for years, yet always felt my knowedge of company history and product line left much to be desired and that's why I'm here. When I found myself confronted with a clerk young enough to be my offspring mumbling something about CZ when ask if a feature on a model 12W he was showing would have been original. I sought you out for my formal education.

If you're on the trail of a W12, that's a great DW find
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

aboard.
The W12 is just behind the one that started it all (the Model 12). This model was still a little rough around the edges at first, which was all improved upon in the years & models following. Nevertheless, the W12 is a great one to have in the collection of anyone interested in DW's.
Here's some pics of the various early models...

I'm sorry, my eye needs lots more training. I appreciate them for being revolutionary, and the beginning of what we have now, talk about something "only a Mother could love"

You kind of have to close one eye and squint with the other one...
