Retired and living in AZ. My last relocation 2 years ago I sold or gave to kids most of my guns. Sold off the reloading gear for peanuts. Then Gunbroker had some DW I could not resist. Picked up a 357 with 6 inch barrel and a Hunter kit in 44 Magnum. One barrel but two shrouds. One adjustable sights, one with the 2x scope. Have to shoot from a rest as these 80 year old arms shake too much.
Wish I had my reloading stuff again. Maybe soon.
Do have one simple question. When replacing the barrels, I put the .006 tool in and screw down the barrel. When I tighten the nut it forces the barrel tighter. Is there a trick to hold the adjustment?

Welcome to the fold. The issue you list is common. Most times it can be overcame by first making sure the threads on the barrel are clean and lubed and then once the barrel is adjusted to the gap you desire open the cylinder and hold thumb pressure against the end of the barrel. Re check the gap once tight. May not always work but usually works for me.
