I have a model 65 S&W which requires 158 grain ammo or it will ruin the barrel. I think older firearms should use the ammo that was available when they were made. Does any of you wise men know what ammo was popular when DW Monson revolvers were made? Thanks in advance.

Sorry guys. I owned a DW Revolver not long after they first came out and I loved it so accurate, wish I still had it, but someone wanted it more than me. I just purchased another one which is on its way and will be here on June 2. I love the smell of burning gun powder when a gun is fired and try to get to the range as often as possible. Thanks for letting me join the group.

BTW, I'm just warning you we love to see of your Dan.

Welcome from SC. I could tell some stories about Seabees I knew but, I'll save that for a later date. (tease)
