Nice to see there is a Dan Wesson Forum and that there are some parts available! I have a 15-2 6" VHB I have owned for the last 18 or so years. Never really given me a problem till now. So I figured I would some here for some info since this is the first place I have found dedicated to the DW revolvers, maybe now I won't have to hear any smack talk about it.

What problems are you having with your 15-2? There is a wealth of knowledge here and some great DIY articles on cleaning, and fixing a small frame DW. The "average Joe" thread is an excellent read. Post your problems and I'll bet somebody here has an answer for you in short order.
Oh, this place loves pics so post some .

I posted the info in the revolver section here:
https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/revolvers/dw-wont-fire-in-da-missing-plunger/
Bsically I lost the plunger that goes in the hammer assembly. Also I got a bullet stuck about half way down the barrel from bad ammo, but that's easy enough to get out.
So I am looking for info on thee deminsions for the plunger so I can make a new one.
It's a prtty plain jane one just your average blued 15-2 with a Pachmayr Presentation grip.
Thanks guys.

From Indiana. Sorry that you are having problems with your Dan. Have you tried CZ USA for the part you need?
Now for the more serious problem "people talking smack about the Dan Wesson. I find that applying the barrel of a 744 just above the left ear corrects this problem. Rarely does it take more than three treatments. R S

Thanks guys, I didn't even know until a few months ago that CZ was even producing new DW revolvers. I have always loved mine and bought it when I turned 21. At the time a friend of mine had just bought a S&W Sigma and was bragging about how he had like 15 rounds. We were looking at our targets and I had them all in the 3" circle and his looked like 50 yard buckshot out of a 10" barrel shotgun I told him, "Well I only need one."
I brought the trigger spring and reset pawl or whatever it's called to work and I am going to chuck up a piece of 316 ss welding rod, unless someone sees a good reason not to. If I can't get it right then I'll see about ordering one.
Right now it's just a bag o gun, so after I get it put back together I'll take some pics.
Off to the shop!

Cleaning it, put it back together and dry fired it DA then SA and everything was fine. Went back to the table I was working on it and found the plunger I found and put in a medicine bottle. Since I had cleaned several guns I wasn't for sure which one it came from for sure. Since the DW cycled the first time I thought it was one of the others. I didn't have the time to take it apart again so I just put the part and gun away and it got lost several years ago.
The next time at the range I usually fire it SA and didn't notice anything wrong, but when I tried a DA fire the cylinder would spin, but the hammer wouldn't cock.
Here lately I have noticed that the timing is off slightly, so I decided it was time to fix it. I started by buying the EWK small parts kit thinking I saw the part in there. It was not.
Also last time I shot it I had some .38 reloads I don't know where they came from and I fired 3 rounds the first sounded weak. I checked the barrel from the breach end and could see light, I fired a second round and it fired normally, the last round was weak and when I swung the cylinder in I noticed that I could not see any light and confirmed that there was a bullet in the barrel.
Not a big deal on getting it out, but I need to make a barrel nut wrench real quick too.
