I can remember wanting a Dan Wesson set from the time i first saw one. Finally bought one today. Got a never fired 15-2VH .357 set/pac with four barrels in the original case with everything else except the barrel wrench, key to the case and the feeler gauge. Grandson of the original owner "isn't a gun guy" and has young kids in his house. I tried to encourage him to keep it after hearing about how his Grandfather came to buy it, but he was selling, so I was buying. My kids will appreciate this as they get older. Looking forward to learning more about these.

Welcome,
Sounds like a nice one, post some pics. There's a key for sale on gun broker right now. I believe the keys are all the same, at least all mine are. Here's a link for the key

Thanks for the link for the key. It would be nice to have one, but I'm going to pass on the $15 price tag being charged. Can't justify that much when I'm not really likely to use it.
As for pictures, I just realized that the seller posted it here on the forum at https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/for-sale/new-1979-15-2vh-357-with-4-barrels-2-5-4-6-8-sn230879/
I also found the guy on this forum who sells the barrel wrench. Great resource here for me already.

Welcome and congrats on the great score!
You should be able to get keys at your local locksmith. I found the keys at my local locksmith for $4.50 apiece. That beats the ebay prices of $9 or better. They are marked "Excelsior Stamford Conn." on one side and the number 71 on the other. They fit both grey and brown cases, at least they fit my grey and brown cases.
