Welcome to the forum!
Very nice looking revolver...now all you need are Dans in 6 or 7 other calibers, frames in nickel and stainless, at least 10 extra barrels...and you'll be right at home here in the hospital ward where the rest of Dan Wesson fanatics seek treatment for DWAS. (Dan Wesson Acquisition Syndrome)
Take it out...fire it...savor the experience...and begin your search for more!

Welcome to DWF, that is a very clean and bright looking 15-2 6VH. It is not likely that the grip is original to the gun, but it is a great grip, especially suited to pretty strong .357 Magnum loads

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome. Very nice gun. Be aware that the cylinder tends to close when ejecting cases. Keep the index and middle fingers of your left hand extended through the frame and pushing on the cylinder while you press the extractor. Almost all used Dans have scratches on the sideplate from the extractor star raking the sideplate and the back of the recoil shield. There is no cylinder release button there to protect it like a Colt and Smith. Keep the gun tilted to the left also. If your gun has no scratches you will want to keep it that way.
