Thanks for allowing me to become a member of this group.....I've been researching the internet for a recent acquisition, and found this site to be most helpful.
I responded to a local for sale ad for a S&W 38 Special. I could tell from the pics it wasn't a S&W. Turns out it is a Lil' Dan Model 738P.....

This revolver was owned by an elderly gentleman for years. His wife didn't want a firearm in the home considering his age. I inquired about extra barrels but got no response. I'm thinking there was not a barrel set for this, even though it has the bushing in the barrel. Any help on that?

Welcome to the group. While there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to DW history I can say with confidence there were no other barrel lengths produced for the Lil-Dan. There are brochures that show 4 inch barrels, but to the best I can find out none were ever produced.

I didn't think there was....but asked the seller to look around, just in case......no response yet.
