Okay!  No more jokes, okay?  And DON'T tell my wife that it's only 3″!!!  Sheesh!!!

I've been around firearms, shooting, hunting, and handguns for a LONG time.  Used to be a real live FFL dealer until the Klintons decided I couldn't be and the ATF agreed to not renew my license no matter how good a boy I'd been.  (and I'd been very, very good!)

Ordered, sold, and owned a lot of DWs as I was always high on them and still am.  Best damned revolver ever made, periiod.

The recent photos I posted are of an interesting factory barrel/shroud variant.  I'd sure love to know if there are any other 3″ that ever leaked out of the factory custom shop.

Well another Welcome in the proper location Laugh  Sounds like you were blessed with handling many DW's in your FFL days.  Do you have any other's left in your collection?  Did you ever have the honor of selling a 414 in your time as an FFL.  Tthey are quite the rare one and an item of my devout interest.

Welcome Glad to have you here.Smile

That's certainly one of the more unique DW's on the site, thanks for showing us pics! That would have been fun to be an FFL dealer when these guns were being sold new.Cool

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

I apologize for not getting back to this forum for so long.  Just came back tonight after I found out CZ is now manufacturing the small revolver again.  Any good?  Anyone know?

Honestly - I got SO PO'd at CZ for just pillaging and grinning.  I talked with some smug butthole kid at the CZ/DW booth at the NRA convention in Louisville and he was just giddy they were dropping the wheelguns "forever".  I've scraped stuff off my shoe I felt better about.

Never owned a single CZ anything.  Shot a 75 once.  Didn't like it.  But then, I don't like 9mm.  I did shoot an honest-to-gosh D&D Bren Ten and loved it.  That was real 10mm!!!  Sent D&D a deposit for one in the dual caiber .45/10mm setup.  They went bankrupt within a month and I never saw my gun or my money!!!

Anyway - good conversation among friends is always welcome and goes down well on a cold night like tonight in Louisville!

I never handled a supercharged .41.  Not many handgunners around me were interested in "Wildcats".  Too easy to just buy ammo off the shelf.  I handled lots of true Pistol Pacs in .357 and .44.  Sold one .357 Supermag.  DW's actually worked, you know!  I still have a couple other .357s and a 6" 744 that has never been fired!  I need to take that one out sometime SOON!
