Welcome and you gotta know we like the pictures so post them up! The Dan you have must a be a Wesson made in Palmer Mas. Dateing should be easy enough head over to side bar (on the right) and Look it up.

aboard, glad to have you here.
When each plant closed down, the serial number records were handed over to the BATF, so it's hard to know an exact manufacture date for your gun. However, Steve & Jody have been compiling s/n info in the "DWF Serial Number Registry" (info at the right of this screen, link at the bottom).
Judging from the info in the Registry, it looks like yours was probably made around 1994.

I've been working w/ some of the Forces de Gendarmerie here and I have to say- those rations are alot better than our MREs...

Welcome, glad you have joined the group.
A couple of years ago, my company sent me to Chalon-sur-Saone to watch a vendor (Areva) build a new pressure vessel called a pressurizer for our nuclear plant. I was there for 2 weeks. Nice area, wish I could have spoke French, but communicating was not a big problem.
