Hi All,
Im really more into pistols than revolvers – but on day on I saw the Dan Wesson PPC revolver on a web site. Now I really wanted one!
For many months I searched for one but these never seems to be for sale – not even on american web sites… Finally I found one on a german site.
Now I just have to wait for all the permits… export from germany, import to denmark and my licence for the gun.
Here are a few more "model" pictures: (not all of my gun).

frjd,
Welcome aboard the . That's some cool look'n PPC and the patch I have never seen before, but then there's alot I have never seen before. I hope yours turns out as nice as that one and I assume the first series of pics are of yours? Too bad it is so hard to get all the paperwork for the purchase over there.
Looking forward to your getting it home.
Ed
Yes the "non model" pictures are of mine. The "model" seems to be 38 only? Mine is 357/38.
The import permit should take about 1 month the get, then the seller need a german export permit – I dont know how long that will take. Then I need a licence to own the gun. That might take 1 month. So with a little luck it should be in my hands within 1-2 month…
Not so bad as getting a gun out of US.
In denmark 357 is the largest handgun caliber allowed. Permit for 357/38/9mm need to go first to the danish sports shooting association, they then send it to the police for approval – and then it need to be approved by the danish justice department.
.22 cal can skip the danish justice department. Oh - you need to have been member of the danish sports shooting association and beeing active for 2 years in a shooting club to get a license for a handgun.
Its a bit easier the get permit for a hunting rifle or sport shooting rifle.

Man, would you look at that...another PPC Dan Wesson! As Wayne stated, those really are very rare, even more so on this side of the pond, it seems. I don't know why that is...
Please promise to come back and post some when you get it home. That's a really neat DW you found, way to go!
And before I forget, to the

Action Cup arrived. Strangely the last one came first.
I think it's even bigger than I imagined from the pictures. (I like that). Very heavy barrel.
The trigger is fine tuned. Nice uniform pressure in the doubles action.
As I said, it completely unused! So I have not yet dared to shoot it.
It is a shame to fire it – and a shame not to… I so have doubts…

I know how you feel, but when my son bought a NIB #000001 serial number 445 SuperMag, his first question was "Where do we get ammunition, we gotta shoot this!".
IHMO, if guns were made to look at, they would have a hook on the back to make it easier to hang on the wall.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
