Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I am very excited, I've finally found a used DW .357 and put it on layaway. I hope to pic it up very soon.
Looking forward to learning all about this model and where to find more accessories for it.
I'll be posting pics as soon as I pick it up.
Thanks

Congratulations on choosing the Dan Wesson, are you getting a blue (Model 15-2) or stainless (715)?
Welcome to DWF, there's a lot of great info here
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

SK65,
I'm glad to hear that you are buying a Dan Wesson, the ones I have are great, I have always heard that they were second in line, and the Colt Python was number one, but I think that their is a lot more problems with the Colts timing. The Dan Wesson is a great shooter. I hope that you enjoy your Dan Wesson.

sk65!
You've found the perfect site for Dan Wesson Acquisitioners. The Model 15 is THE classic DW, one that everyone should have. Hope you get yours out of layaway soon.
I have a few Colts, and they do have timing issues, especially when running a lot of full-power loads through them. The Dan Wessons are like trucks...they run forever. Feed them all the heavy loads you want, they can take it. We'll look forward to the pics.
