Hello,
I want to do the polite thing and introduce myself. I'm a long time Dan Wesson large frame revolver owner. I have a stainless 8" .44 mag that I used to compete with in IHMSA back in the early 80's. I have hunted and competed with that pistol, and love it. Although I have not done any serious shooting for quite some time, I'm hoping to get back into it. Currently attempting to mount a Trijicon ACOG sight on my pistol to replace the Aimpoint that gave up the ghost.
Things here in California are not gun friendly. I have a home in Arizona that I'm hoping to make permanent in the near future. I do most all of my shooting there since it is much more convenient and cheaper. I retired two years ago after 28 years in law enforcement. Glad I got out when I did. Looking forward to connecting with Dan Wesson aficionados.

Glad you're here and congratulations on retirement. Shoot more, shoot more often....
I would only add, buy a few more Dans then.... "Shoot more, shoot more often...."
Welcome to the forum and we'd love to see a picture of that 744.
To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:
if you find one...what's your plan?
