Just purchased a Dan Wesson and since I used this site when researching whether or not it was a good deal, I figured that there should be some introductions since we've brought the "baby" home.

 

As tradition when I visit my local gun shop, I head right over to the orphan bin (used guns) to see what they've got. I saw this Dan hanging out with the others and started asking about it. Then, came home and scoured the 'net to check on it. There's no box or extra barrels, just the 4-inch one attached to it. There's a little bit of rust at the tip of the barrel but, I'll be working on that in the future. At $225, I felt it was a good deal.

 

I  brought it home and cleaned it up and now, I don't think it looks too bad. There was a LOT of crud under the grips so I doubt they've been removed in quite a while, if ever. Cleaned everthing up and it works sooooo smoooooooth! Silky… 

 

Just bought a wrench for it from EWK and I'm thinking that there will be other purchases in the future, just to let this ex-orphan know that she's now officially one of the family!
