Just purchased my 1st Dan Wesson, a 15-2 w/ 6" barrel. I found it and three others for what I thought were incredibly low prices (mine was $262). Was originally looking for a reasonably priced .357 for my brother, but he wasn't interest..... I couldn't resist.
I received mine yesterday and was off to the range today with some wadcutter reloads and a few .357 hp. I am very pleased to say the least. I wanted a target gun and I found one! Condition is VG (much better then the ad pics suggested) and appears to have been fired very little. Only problem is an ugly cosmetic scratch on one side of the shroud. I may try to touch her up.... maybe not. The knife in the pic is one of the historical repro knives I forge just for fun. This one always rides with me to the range.
Thanks to all you guys on this sight for all the great info. You helped me make my decision! All The Best

Welcome to DWF! I've been seeing you hanging out and cruising the Forum for a while. The 15-2 6" is pretty much the basis of Dan Wesson success, you have a real nice one there, and you got a great deal at $262, especially with a Zebra grip. DWF member "hotbluer" is the guy you want to check out if you want that shroud back to factory new condition.

I know our members will recommend him without any reservation
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
