I have a DW 15-2 with a 6" barrel (vent light).  I used to be happy with it, but now I feel a need to get a 4" barrel for it also...I'm not surprised this happened though.  It is a sweet shooter, for no more ability than I have.  I purchased it from my dad after he had had it for several years.

It was my third gun to own after a S&W 422 and a Colt Government.

Welcome to DWF, I had only a 6" for many years, put a 4" on it, and, well

Things may have gotten out of control a little

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's the best thing about a Dan Wesson...interchangability.Laugh With one gun, it's easy to have the best of many variations.

A DW with a 4" barrel might very well be the perfect revolver.  You'll love the feel of one.

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Welcome!

I puchased my VH 4" to finish out my pak.

I agree, it has the best balance out of the four, can get the efficiency out of the heavier loads with slower powder, has great POA, and just looks the best in my opinion.

Your most likely gonna like it, either V or HV.

Welcome to DWF Sign Always fun adding more barrels and shrouds. Then you need more frames, them more calibers...never ends.

So I got my 4V barrel today, and it is super nice. I can't wait to get back home to see how she looks on the model 15. I'm having second thoughts now about putting her in a holster cuz she is in such nice condition.

Looks like all you need now is a 4" VH and then you'd have all the bases covered. lol

Someday I hope to have that many options for a barrel on my 15-2
