I've been collecting some of the "more available" revolvers for some time now. Saw my first DW, a consigned 15-2, at a LGS a couple of months ago, but it was missing the cylinder stop. By the time I got back after doing some research about getting a replacement stop it had been taken back by the owner. Last week the same shop had what I thought was the same 15-2 with double the price! After further examination it was actually a 1978 15-2V that looks unfired. In addition it came with 4 barrels, 3 sets of grips and everything that came with a "pistol pac" EXCEPT for the belt buckle and fitted hard case. It took some coaxing from some local forum members to get me to pull the proverbial trigger on this one and I'm glad I did. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish of this beautifully blued DW and will post pictures when I take possession after what is going to be a LONG 10 day wait.

Congrats. on a great score to start you Dan Wesson collection. Welcome to the Dan Wesson place from PA!
There are some pistol pac cases on ebay now if you want an authentic hard case for you set.

Welcome to the forum. You are off to a great start. After the hard case go on gunbroker and buy another one to shoot.Lol. I know in California it is not so easy. Be aware that the gun can be used and still look unfired. They are very durable. BTW, are there liberals, commies and chicken littles in the low desert too?

Yes, about the same as the free states, but not nearly as many as other parts of CA
In reality it's a nationwide phenom that is multiplied by about 10 in the densely populated parts of CA.

Try using Google Chrome instead of IE as your browser. My computer does what you are experiencing when I try to post using Internet Explorer. I have to log on using Chrome to be able to post pics.
